Daddy soldiering the pipes together. He does a wonderful job on all of our plumbing jobs.
JL (who is taller than me now) taking the cardboard off the new countertop. Yes, I know it is on the wrong side. LOL
Mr. G checkin' out how level the new counter tops are.
The reason we had to wait over 3 weeks...the big long counter top. It looks so nice! Worth the wait!
HJ helping to bring it in and place it.
Mr. G trying to match up the corners to a leveled counter top on top of cupboards that are sitting on an unlevel floor. We're asking a master craftsman to come to our house to brainstorm with Mr. G on how to get everything leveled and make sure the cut for the new sink is just right. Mr. G would feel much better knowing he consulted someone who does this type of thing for a living and knew he was doing it right before installing everything in it's permanent place. What a wise man he is!
We're already talking about when we're replacing the upper cupboards, adding an island with the same counter top in the middle and finishing off the whole thing. Yes, I know this type of thing would drive someone absolutely insane having miss-matched cupboards. But, when you are on an "all cash" system, that means you do things when the money is available. We make due with how things are until we have everything purchased and set aside to do our projects. We do this because of Romans 13:8 that tells us to owe no man anything but love. There are also some Proverbs that talk about how bad usury (loans and cosigning) is that has really convicted us as well.
Still more to come....
Finished (for now) pictures. :)

Looks like it is coming along nicely! I totally understand the cash thing, very wise indeed!
