Thursday Thursday

Bright and early waking time, not going back to sleep from 4:45AM.  Thus began my Thursday.  I absolutely miss my beloved, since he was called in for overtime on his day off.  I figured God has something in store.

I got an early shower, woke my HJ to let the doggies out and exercise without the boys around.  Her desire, which I can respect.  I don't like people watching me while I exercise either.  I finished my shower, got dressed and went downstairs to get a salad with some cottage cheese since it felt like my blood sugar was a little low.  I went in to the kitchen to find my precious daughter making some tea...odd, so I asked what was up.  She told me that she didn't want to exercise today because her throat was hurting.  Hmmmm.  I told her to go sit down and enjoy her tea for a bit while I dried my hair and gradually ate my salad.

I woke the boys and my oldest son came down to hug me good morning and ask me if he could make a fire.  I love that he wants to make sure we are warm.  He's going to be a very good provider of a wonderful young lady some day.  :)

They got to work on their chores while I started the bacon for breakfast.  Once the oldest was done, he started making pancakes.  JL worked on folding and putting away the laundry and HJ worked on wiping down the bathrooms.  Once everyone was done with their chores, breakfast was ready.  It was wonderful!  Mind you, this doesn't happen every morning, so I have reason to rejoice!  :)

Unfortunately, I started getting a head ache and neck and shoulder ache during breakfast.  I finished up and around 10AM found myself getting some Excedrin Migraine and laying back in the recliner and closing my eyes, letting my neck muscles relax.  I hoped that I caught the pressure in time.  I closed my eyes and took a brief nap.  I absolutely love my kids.  They kept quiet, cleaned up the kitchen and waited until I opened my eyes.  Upon opening my eyes, I immediately got the question, "Can we watch something on Netflix?"  LOL

We've absolutely loved watching shows that we've missed since getting rid of satellite/cable service in 2009.  The best part is....no commercials!

So, here we sit at 12:09PM eating junk food and watching our favorite nerdy science show~Eureka....cuz we're like that...nerds.  LOL  We're finding that loving all things nerdy and scientific is a good thing.  :)   And it's fun!

And, since this morning, there has been no cleaning, no organizing...just relaxing.

'Tis a beautiful thing.  :)
