It IS Really Ok!

Six years of struggling and working and repeating and forgetting and not getting it and banging our heads on the wall [his and ours] and praying and praying and praying...

...and precious...

....blessed...

...progress...

For those of you who are teachers will see lots of things in this particular spelling test, which isn't a test.  It isn't even a pretest.  It's a "lets see how well you know these word patterns" exercise.  It is not a test.  It is not graded.

Here are some things I would like you to notice~
  •  Out of 25 words, only 1 word has a flipped letter in it!   For a boy who was diagnosed as having dyslexia and dysgraphia, this is REMARKABLE!
  •  You CAN read his writing!!!!!

While these may be strides that a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd grader might be struggling with, these have been the issues that my youngest son has been struggling with for over 6 years.

Just ONE letter!
One letter out of 25 words!

Add to that, Victory Drill Book and Easy Grammar, reading all kinds of books and a Momma and Daddy who refuse to give up AND he is reading Bible verses on his own with very little help from us [words like Nebukudnezer aside].

Such WONDERFUL reasons to PRAISE God!  :)

It is REALLY "Ok!"
