For the longest time, I've desired more...

This isn't an unhealthy desire, you see.   It is a desire for more time with my Lord.

About a month ago, a dear friend looked at my side bar of all the books I'd like to read this year.  She noticed that she had one of them and gave me that book.  (Thank you dear friend!)  I've been eyebrow deep in it, soaking up everything I can, for small morsels at a time.  I love it!

We've been going through Polished Cornerstones and Plants Grown Up with our children.  In one of HJ's sections on "A Woman Who Prays", there was reference to a chapter in a book called "Christian Character" by Gary Maldener.  This past week we've studied that chapter as a family.  Wow! 

This week we're studying in the same book, a chapter on talking to people about Jesus.  What a blessing!  I am overwhelmed!  I've wanted more time with my Lord, and in order to prepare myself for studying with the children, I've needed to do the work before hand.  So, after going through all the work, then going through everything with the kids, I get the message TIMES TWO!  How awesome!

To top all of that off, we've been home churching for the past few weeks due to family sickness.  We listen to Pastor Adrian Rodgers at Love Worth Finding when we stay home from church.  What wonderful ministry to the soul!  How blessed we are!
