I can get the back porch cleaned off and ready for enjoying. I can breathe deeply the wonderful scents of Spring with the daffodils, lilacs and freshly mown grass. Neighbors start to barbeque, as if on cue.
I love watching all the new growth!
I love planting flowers and seeing what God does with them. :)
As it is with every year, once the weather warms up, it is just like a thoroughbread racing from the shoot. There is a race to see how much produce we can grow and subsequently put up for the winter. It happens every year without fail. Waiting in anticipation to be able to go out and get my hands in the dirt is the harest part. LOL Maybe this year, I'll be able to get some pictures of a different sort....of me doing the planting. There never seems to be anyone around when that happens though. :)
Needless to say, this year we plan to put in our new sidewalk with sidewalk pavers, not the traditional pouring of cement. We'll be planting chamomile between the cracks and with chamomile, you can mow right over it and it comes back in a fern like luscious growing living carpet. I'll make sure to post pictures! :)

I love the flowers. I normally don't have any luck at all in planting anything. I admire those with a green thumb. My girls have flower planting plans for this year so perhaps they'll do better than their mama!
