As the warm summer breezes blow sweetly through our backyard trees, the sunshine brightens their lovely lush green color with such a variety of hughes. I'm sitting on my bed in front of the fan enjoying the warmth with Biscuit lounging beside me with his ears perked up. I'm getting ready to go check on the children's progress with their new chores. It is July 1st after all, so their chores change today. I have every confidence that they will do superb. And if they haven't, there's always tomorrow to take care of that other thing in the corner or that stray dust bunny that got away. We're not perfect here, just forgiven. ;)
Even though it is still the Lord's day, we do the minimum of our chores. We still need to eat, so this afternoon we'll head to Aldi's and get our weekly rations of veggies. 'Tis a good thing. :)
