My back is in aweful condition, so much so that it hurts to breathe in deeply. Not good for someone who walks quite a bit throughout the day from this area to that and back again over hundreds of times a day. I tried calling the chiropractor's office only to find that they are not open this week. They will be open next week, fortunately. I will be calling to make an appointment bright an early Monday though! In the mean time, the back massager and heating pad have been my friends. I've even tried having my youngest son walk on my biggest problem spot for it to help just a little.
In the mean time, I'm going to take this time to slow down, finish the afghan I'm making for little baby Billy who will be making his appearance any day. As of right now, his mom is on her way to the hospital to have him because she's in so much pain. Please keep them in prayer because she's only 32 weeks along.
I will also finish my lesson plans for the Recorder Class I'll begin teaching at our home school group this year. I have half as many as I did last year, so it will make the entire class dynamic completely different.
I'll finish more dishcloths, oven mitts and get aprons and a dress finished sewing too. All this while making sure the children get their school work and chores done. I guess I should elaborate on what the children are up to for school this year. I'll save that for another post, though. Right now they are clearing out the books from the book shelves in my sewing room. We're moving them down to the basement. The area where the book shelves are now is taking up too much space and warrants people going in to the room too much. This allows for disturbance of work items in progress, which is not a good thing! And! I found a storage shelf at a yard sale for $20 instead of $60 at Home Depot/Lowes on Saturday while yard saling. What a blessing! Mr. G and I have discussed changing the shelves in there a couple months ago and now this will make it possible. Thank the Lord!
Speaking of yard sales, I found so many wonderful things for my family at such good prices too!
Lots of clothes for the men of the house, tennis rackets for when numerous people want to play bad mitton [yes, we can!], a FREE quesidilla press, a basket [my weakness], a winter coat & courderoy jacket for HJ, and another bone pillow [for stiff necks]. We were certainly blessed!
Praising God for His goodness.
