Summer Time Treasures

My apologies for not posting much lately.  We have been super busy with loads of things.

Grandma and Grandpa from Missouri came out to stay with us for a few days.   We walked around and roller bladed while they enjoyed the scenery.  Grandpa's hip wasn't doing too well, so we made him nice and comfy in the chair.  We spent lots of time laughing, playing and enjoying time with them.  We miss them a lot and hope to see them again in the Spring of next year.
While grandma and grandpa watched, we walked and roller bladed around.  At one point they wanted me to pull them.  ;)

A few weeks earlier, we found some baby toads that just finished their transformation.

No, this isn't a dandylion, but it sure resembles it!  ;)

This will be a baby afghan for my new little nephew.

Daddy and JL made a potato gun while older brother and sister picked berries at our friends' farm this summer.  The berries are waning now, so it is time to start picking blueberries, but they don't have those available to pick at their farm yet.  ;)

And this young man has not been feeling well for a long time, since the end of May.  He's getting blood tests, food allergy tests, celiac panels and tomorrow I call to schedule the pediatric GI scope to be done.  He is nauseous or sick in the mornings.  The Dr gave him Previcid, but he's still getting sick.  We're also scheduled for more environmental allergy testing in September.  Hopefully by the time all of this is over, we'll be able to know why he's been this way.  He sleeps in the afternoon for a bit too.  At first I thought it was a growth spurt because all of my kids fall asleep on the couch while either reading or something when they have a growth spurt.  This has been going on for a while now and he always looks wiped out.  Dr says he's too young to have an ulcer, plus he doesn't have all the symptoms.  We're praying not just for answers, but for complete healing.  Would you join us in prayer?

Now, last but not least, for your viewing pleasure, we give you the before and after goofy faces!

Yup, it was hair cut day!  LOL
Gotta love 'em!

Blessings,
Regina
